windows update

my windows wont update for the last 2 updates i trouble shooted but did not help

I understand your frustration as I ran into this same problem a couple of weeks back -- but you also need to understand that we here have no way to debug or fix windows update problems.

 

There is often an error code provided with an update failure and you find this by going into Windows Updates and looking at the history.  Then you have to do online searches using that code to see if any fixes are availble.

 

But there is also another issue that two "bad" updates went out, for Win10 builds 631 and 661 -- and if you have either of those, you are stuck until MS comes out with a fix.

 

To see what you have, enter "winver" (without the quotes) in the Search area and see what it shows.
