Ok this is pretty specific...the AVD client add-on is working ok with typical user connections. They enter their credentials and followup with MFA using MS Authenticate. But we now have a use case for a service account instead which is not set up for MFA. When we try to connect with this type of account, after the credentials are entered the sign in process fails with "We couldn't sign you in. Please try again." Looking closer, we see that Azure did sign the user in, but this separate error window comes up in front of everything. If you right click and hit "back" it proceeds to the "Pick an account" window waiting for user to click the service account (with "signed in" already indicated below it!) and then the user has their virtual desktop ready.
This only happens when we use the service account(s), which do not have MFA enabled. The same service accounts work fine from a Windows AVD client on our Windows devices. Is this a problem with the AVD client addon?
