Hi HP!

I wanted to ask if it is possible to turn off the Ads on the Omen Gaming Hub? It feels intrusive to have the ads on the front page Home Menu. Happy to look at ads on the Shop Games section but this seems really over the top. There must be a place to turn this off? I have had my Omen PC for three years, looks nothing like when I first bought it. I have upgraded most of the components, only the fans and lights remain because they are so functional. I need this application to manage them properly. Hard to look at ads all the time. Omen is an amazing line of PCs for gaming, easy to upgrade!

@Suheung79,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

Unfortunately, at this point in time, HP has not included an option to disable the promotional content or "ads" shown on the OMEN Gaming Hub home screen. These tiles are now part of the app's dynamic interface and are updated periodically through HP's online content services.

That said, you can try:

  • Avoid the Home tab — most performance and lighting controls can be accessed directly from the Performance Control, Lighting, or System Vitals sections.

  • Submit feedback to HP directly through OMEN Gaming Hub by selecting Settings → Feedback and share your concern about intrusive ads.

  • Optionally, block the OMEN Hub's content delivery domains via a firewall rule, though this is not officially supported and may prevent updates or cloud features from working.

Many users have voiced similar feedback, so it's possible -and one may hope- that HP may revise this behavior in a future update.

Kind Regards,
