We have about 40 thin clients running windows 10 with Office 2016 for training courses at our various locations throughout NSW. The training courses are to teach people how to use internet resources and MS Office. We are contracted to require these machines to reset themselves on each reboot and we do this through the Write Manager software. The problem we are running into is that the users are getting popups tellng them their cache is full and the system will reboot in 120 seconds or so. The users are not very tech savvy so they end up missing the count down or accidentally clicking reboot instead of cancel which causes them to lose all their work. I have set the write manager to the max of 1024MB not give the critical warning until down to 128MB left but it seems that the cache gets filled really quickly. I have even set the browsers under Profiles to on so that it will purge the overlay but it doesn't seem to be helping. I've read the documentation on using these machines and I realize they are optimal for connecting through virtual servers but would like to have the stand along functionality with the change wipe on reboot. Can anyone assist on how to best achieve that?
