TPM 2.0 Has been accepted.

Secure Boot has been accepted, yet activision are still saying that I can't play call of duty because it requires a bios update. Problem is, I can't find one that exists past what I already have. Is there another fix for this or is this just the end of the road at this point?

Greetings,

Welcome to the HP Forum.

HP Forum Administrators and the HP support team have been aware of the AMD TPM 2.0 version problem since 2025. Please see this HP Forum Thread.

Some HP MBs have received a TPM update, some HP MBs have not.

You'll just have to wait it out to see if your MB gets a BIOS update to fix the TPM 2.0 manufacturing version problem.

I have a retail AMD B550 MB. The MB OEM has finally (June 2026) released a BIOS update to fix the TPM 2.0 version problem and the expiring Windows Secure Boot security certificate problem.

Regards

Unfortunately I think we are done. We have been asking HP about this for the past year and they haven't done anything except post condescending canned responses while doing absolutely nothing to solve the very obvious problem that every other manufacture has already solved.
