- System information says my bios is HP L01 v02.78, 02\20\2020. But the HP website only has only one version listed for my motherboard and it's a version from 2017. Should I install the one from windows, not sure where the later version comes from

At one time there was a v02.78 BIOS update on the support page.
You cannot go back to any previous versions once v2.78 has been installed.

At one time there was a v02.78 BIOS update on the support page.
