Hello,
I have a question.
Are BIOS firmware and System firmware the same firmware?
If so, why is there a version difference? The T01 BIOS firmware is version 02.21.00 and the T01 System firmware is version 02.19.00. (The system firmware is located under Device Management.)
If they are two separate firmware’s, could there be a version difference?
If not, how do I get these versions to match again?

Hi @Ronald955
It's the same firmware; you just need to wait for Windows Update to send you an optional update. Then, download and install it, but it won't actually update the BIOS—it will only change the driver version.
If you haven’t updated the BIOS before, Windows will send the update and perform the entire BIOS update process. I recommend not allowing that and always updating through HP instead, because there are cases where Windows Update fails and can damage the laptop.
But if you've already updated the BIOS, and Windows Update sends the update, the process doesn't need to update the BIOS—just the driver—and there's no risk of damage.
That Windows Update download can take 1 to 4 months, but it doesn't affect the laptop's performance.
