Hello!

 

i tried to update the BIOS of a Z440 Workstation to 2.62. Since then the PC does not show the POST procedure.

Shows blank screen and after a few minutes the fans spin up and run on highest rates.

 

i tried to recover the BIOS with an USB key to 2.61 (sp146166) but nothing happend.

 

do i bricked the motherboard ?

is it possible to restore the BIOS from a USB key ?

 

any suggestions ?

 

on removing GPU or RAM the Motherboard reacts with beep and red light signals.
so i think it is still "vital"
