My computer has been working fine for a while, I recently got the notification to complete the BIOS update which I proceeded to complete. Some time later the computer decided to restart but got stuck on “Press the ESC key for Startup Menu” my keyboard will not work at all, the caps lock will turn on for a second then completely off. I’ve let it sit on this page for hours and nothing has happened. I’ve tried tons of suggestions yet no solution. PLEASE HELP…

You need to recovery your bios. Hopefully the previous bios is in the HP recovery partition

Unaccountably some of the HP web site are not working and I cannot load the above url. I think it says the following:
Hold down the Window Key and the letter "b" and press the power on button. Keep holding down until the old bios is loaded. If you have another hand available you can cross fingers and hope.
I am not sure what is happening but I cannot look up your HP system to find a replacement bios procedure
Please provide the Product ID including the characters after the # symbol. I am not sure how long to fix the HP database so check back later on or the next day. Sorry.
