OMEN by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop 16-k0000 (594K2AV)

I turn on my computer and it has 100% of battery and 5 minutes later it has 92% and I don't think that's  normal. I already tried to speak with a HP professional. I think it's very unprofessional of your part. I received this laptop on September 21st and I noticed that was a problem and i tried to contact HP on the same day. They took almost 2 weeks to answer me and told me that they couldn't solve the problem and then they gave me a number so I could call HP. When I called  this number ([Personal Information Removed]) the worker didn't knew how to speak english, so she gave me another number. When I called the other number they told me they couldn't solve the problem too. Then I called again on the next day and the call was always ending by itself. I called again and I gave my contact, and when the call ended by itself no one called me back. I sent another email to HP for them to contact me and I never got a response. HP is a huge brand and I think it's unacceptable the disrespect that I'm receiving. Today it's October 14th and I only have 7 days to solve this problem due to the fact that is a online purchase.  It's a very expensive product and I have the right to be offered the best quality.

There are a number of possibilities causing fast battery draining

You have a gaming laptop.  Power usage is higher due to more components even if not in gaming mode.

You may have the 4cell battery instead of the 6cell

The battery resource calculations may not be accurate as the system has not been used much.  i.e. the %5 drop may be only %1.

Check your power plan.  Make sure the minimum is %5.  I recommend the maximum be changed to %95 to keep the system from running in the top turbo mode all the time

set %l100 max in battery mode to %95

Set the screen brightness to auto.  If brightness seems stuck on high all the time then lower screen brightness.  Disable Bluetooth if not using it.

Let battery run down to 0.0 before charging.  After 3-4 cycles do a battery calibration

You can also get a battery report that can tell you how old your battery is

Please run the battery report and post  the summery
you run the battery report by bringing up the administrator command windows "cmd" and running powercfg/batteryreport as shown below

After entering that explorer line you should see something like the following. You will have to click on it as it is long
https://stateson.net/docs/SP4_battery-report.html
You can use the WindowsKey + shift + S to copy and paste a small image if you need help interpreting the report
