Product: HP ENVY x360 Convertible Laptop PC 15m-ed1013dx

I am having issue signing-in using biometrics sensor for the 2nd time in a month now. The first time this happened, I tried to restart my pc more than once and suddenly it crashed the whole windows and I had to reinstall windows 10 at an IT center but this time, it the N version. After re-installing, it all worked fine. In less than a month time, I am experiencing log-in issue using my biometric again after working fine for only few days. What is the issue and how do I solve it? It is frustrating when this happens again. I tried all the possible solutions, like checking for updates, then restarting my pc, tried to even reset the windows hello fingerprint but no luck. On settings then sign-in option, its giving me this error sign "something went wrong. try again later. This option is currently unavailable". 
I don't even get the fingerprint sign-in option on my lock screen anymore. please assist on how I can get this fixed.
