So recently I have been trying to flash my bios, I found the PC I have on the website got the drivers for the bios for my correct model number, and once go through all the steps of doing next or pressing Yes for agreeing to the terms of service I don't get the "HP Bios Update and Recovery" wizard tab for me to update and go into the bios, Please help me fix this issue so I can update and go into the bios.
(Can't see this window after Agreeing to everything It shows cmd prompt for a second then closes)

it could be an anti virus or a permission problem
try moving the download to a different directory for example
C:\SWSetup
then right click and run it as administrator
if that doesn't work then bring up the event viewer and look under applications for error messages relating to the install

Bios updates can fail because it is the wrong one in addition to hardware, software and PEBCAK
Please use the HP support assistant to provide
- Product ID
- System Board
- System Bios
do not give the serial number or post a picture with a serial # as mod's here will delete it for some reason.
I think msinfo also has the above info.
post a link to the bios you downloaded so I can look at it.
Did you look for any errors in "applications" in the windows event viewer. "Systems" and "security" could also be looked at.
Thanks.
