Bios update for MS-7613 motherboard

HP Elite HPE-110be

Ever since I upgraded to Windows 10 my computer has some difficulty to boot up, most of the time I need to reset my computer twice before it successfully boots into Windows 10. I'm sure this is because the bios is not optimized for Windows 10 since the latest one I could find is from 2010 (5.13). Is there a more recent version of this bios available?

Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

HP only provides BIOS updates for OS versions that come preinstalled on their PCs, and in your case, your PC came with Win7 (at the latest).  So, there is no Win10 BIOS update for it.

Thanks for your answer!
But can't I download a newer bios from a different pc model with the exact same motherboard? I think the worst that could happen is a F1 error.

While there's certainly nothing to prevent you from doing what you suggest, any other model with the same motherboard is going to have the same OS limitations -- with BIOS updates only forWin7, not for Win10.

The only way I know to do the BIOS update NOW, is to revert your PC back to Win7, do the Update, and then redo the Win10 Upgrade.  The good news is that since your PC has already been updated to Win10, MS has a record of that and will automatically reactivate Win10 on your PC after the update.

Good Luck

Bios update for MS-7613 motherboard

Will try that verry soon, but instead I might just make a second partition on my hdd and install Windows 7 there. So there won't be any driver issues(all my drivers are for Windows 10 only)

You could certainly do that, and once you have Win7 installed, you could then download and run the HP BIOS update.

Once that is done, you could then decide to either remove Win7 or retain it.

Good Luck
