I am looking for a BIOS update for hp compaq  8200 elite sff.  The board is 1496 and the BIOS I need is v2.28.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks

Below is the link to the v2.28 BIOS update you are looking for.

 

ROM Firmware for 8200 Elite and 6200 Pro Business PCs (J01)

v02.28 

 

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp71001-71500/sp71294.exe 

 

If you are not running XP, Vista or W7, then use the method I posted in the discussion below to update the BIOS without being in Windows:
