HP has discontinued driver support for that model. All references to any BIOS updates returns a bad link warning. Considering the age of that hardware, there is probably not a "recent" BIOS update. What version is presently installed? The latest I found reference to download, and it is not from HP, is 7.06 Rev. A from here:

I'm not an HP employee.

Hi, @vmkasturi
There are only BIOS updates for W7 for your model.
I don't know what would happen if you run a BIOS update designed to run on W7 in W10.
In any event, the latest BIOS revision for your PC according to the support page, is 71.08
Since your PC is not supported by HP for W10, you get a message that states in substance that 'We cannot find drivers for your product,' if you are using W10 to access the support page.
You need to look near the top of the page and select the change operating system link.

You cannot run a modern graphics adapter in your PC.
In order to run nVidia GT 7xx graphics adapters and newer, your PC has to have an 8x.xx or 8.xx BIOS family.
For AMD cards, I do not believe you can go beyond the Radeon HD 6xxx series.
