Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hello,
i have a problem with automatically set the bios settings over the bios configuration utility.
I did the following steps:
1. Create password file
2. set password through biosconfigutility and password file (biosconfigutility64.exe /newsetuppassword:pass.bin)
3. get config (biosconfigutility64.exe /get:config.txt /cpwdfile:pass.bin) <- works like a charm
<BIOSCONFIG Version="" Computername="PC21084" Date="2021/09/17" Time="09:13:00" UTC="2">
<SUCCESS msg="No errors occurred" />
<Information msg="BCU return value" real="0" translated="0" />
</BIOSCONFIG>
4. change some settings in the config file
5. set config (biosconfigutility64.exe /set:config.txt /cpwdfile:pass.bin) <- does not work
<BIOSCONFIG Version="" Computername="PC21084" Date="2021/09/17" Time="09:14:09" UTC="2">
ERROR: Error during CryptAcquireContext. LastError = 0x8009000f
<ERROR msg="Unable to decrypt password file: pass.bin" />
<ERROR msg="BCU return value" real="10" translated="10" />
</BIOSCONFIG>
I cannot figure out what my mistake is.
