@pymkatz, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding BitLocker Recovery Issue on HP All-in-One Desktop PC!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

It appears you're encountering a BitLocker recovery loop issue on your HP All-in-One Desktop PC after deleting Core Isolation settings. Here are some steps you can follow to try and resolve this issue:

Retrieve and Enter BitLocker Key:

  • Ensure you have accurately entered the BitLocker recovery key. This key can typically be found in your Microsoft account under the BitLocker section.

Access Advanced Options:

  • If you access the Advanced Options and it repeatedly asks for the recovery key, there may be an issue with the system files.

Perform a System Restore:

  • If you can access the "Troubleshoot" menu in the Advanced Options, attempt a system restore to a point before the issue occurred.

Check TPM (Trusted Platform Module) Settings:

  • Sometimes BitLocker issues arise due to problems with the TPM. Check the BIOS to ensure that TPM is enabled and functioning correctly.

Disable BitLocker via Command Prompt:

  • In the Advanced Options, try to access the Command Prompt. Use the following commands to disable BitLocker:
    manage-bde -unlock C: -RecoveryPassword YOUR-RECOVERY-KEY
    manage-bde -protectors -disable C:
  • Replace YOUR-RECOVERY-KEY with the BitLocker recovery key you have.

Reset the PC:

  • If the above steps do not resolve the issue, you might need to reset your PC. This will reinstall Windows but can result in data loss.
    • Navigate to Troubleshoot > Reset this PC and follow the prompts.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
