Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just realized my desktop no longer has Bluetooth after updating to Windows 10 years ago. I tried downloading the Original Broadcom Wireless Network Controller Driver (sp54360.exe) , so i can have  Bluetooth again. Windows will not allow me to install. I tired installing as Administrator, did troubleshoot compatibility, and attempted to install with command prompt. in addition, I went to "Device manager" and tried to update the current wireless adapter drivers. None of the actions worked. Does anyone have a remedy to fix the issue?

Every piece of hardware is the original products that came with the desktop.

Hi:

I don't believe the bluetooth version 2.1 the broadcom card comes with is supported in W10.

You will either have to replace the internal wifi/bluetooth card with a newer model or purchase an external USB bluetooth adapter.

There should be two antenna cables connected to the BCM wifi card in there now, so you can upgrade to this newer version of the card where the BT is supported in W10.

Broadcom BCM943228HMB 802.11abgn 2×2 Wi-Fi Adapter, Broadcom Bluetooth 4.0 Adapter   HP part # 730668-001

The card should be readily available on eBay.  Search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi card.
