HP ENVY x360 m6-aq103dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

Not too long ago I bought an HP ENVY x360.  I already had an LG stereo bluetooth headset (model HBS-770), I figured that I can that to listen to videos on my new laptop.  Unfortunately, the laptop isn't detecting my headset.  I would click on the bluetooth icon and then click "add a bluetooth device", but no success.

Is there a driver I would have to install.  I browsed possible solutions, searched Intel drivers, but didn't know WHAT driver I should get.

I hope I gave enough information.

Renee

Thanks for the post.

I understand that you are unable to pair your Bluetooth speaker with your HP Split 13 x2 computer. Happy to help.

Kudos to you for trying to troubleshoot the issue on your own.

Have you run the troubleshooter available in the control panel?

Recommend you to update the wireless driver and Bluetooth driver on your computer using HP Support Assistant.

Make sure the wireless button on your computer is ON and open device manager.

Check if Bluetooth is listed in device manager and is enabled.

Make sure the Bluetooth headset is not paired with any other device.

Have the Bluetooth headset off, open the Bluetooth utility and when it is searching for Bluetooth devices, turn the Bluetooth headset ON.

If the headset is still not getting detected, recommend you to run the troubleshooter from the control panel.

Refer to this article for other troubleshooting steps.

Let me know how it goes.

Hey Chimney_83, sorry for the late response.

Your solution WORKED!  My bluetooth headset was still linked to my phone.  Once I disconnected the link from the headset to my phone, it was able to link up to my laptop!  It's been working great 🙂

THANK YOU SO MUCH!
