Hello from Sydney, 

 

Desktop HP Pavilion p6 - 2415a

 

I can't find the bluetooth on/off switch to allow me to pair a new, small sony box speaker.

 

Does this model have bluetooth, and if so where the bloody hell is it ???

That model does not have a BlueTooth radio in it.  Specifications HERE.

 

You can always add a BlueTooth USB dongle to gain the ability.  They are pretty inexpensive.
