Should I update the BIOS even though I'm not having issues?

Basically -- NO.

 

Bios updates provided by HP have details that indicate what the update is to address.  Nearly all of them say something like "security update" which tells you nothing useful.

 

Unless the BIOS update is specifically fixing a problem you have, I would NOT install it.

 

Others may join in here with different opinions --but this is mine.

Ironically, HP support doesn't offer an update for my machine running Win10. I would have to go to AMI for and updates. Thanks for your reply.
