Microsoft Windows 11

Browers arbitrarily freeze randomly and don't come back unless I "CNTRL-ALT-DEL" on blank part of screen.  IS WIN 11 BETA?

My model number is HP Pavillion Desktop PC TP01-3055xt.

2-browsers: Browser Tabs arbitrarily duplicate 1 or more times.  Tabs sometimes just disappear on their own.  These can happen quickly or after several minutes.  Pattern somewhat random.

I apologize for the inconvenience you're experiencing with your HP Pavilion Desktop PC TP01-3055xt. The issues you mentioned, such as browser freezing, duplicate tabs, and disappearing tabs, can be caused by various factors, including software conflicts, browser extensions, or system resource limitations. While I can't specifically determine if Windows 11 is in beta for your particular system, I can provide some general troubleshooting steps to help address these browser-related issues:

1. Update Windows and Browsers: Ensure that your Windows operating system and browsers (such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge) are up to date with the latest versions. Updates often include bug fixes and performance improvements that can help resolve such issues.

2. Clear Browser Cache and Cookies: Clearing the cache and cookies in your browser can help eliminate any temporary files or corrupted data that may be causing conflicts. Each browser has its own method of clearing cache and cookies, so refer to the browser's settings or help documentation for instructions.

3. Disable Browser Extensions: Some browser extensions can cause conflicts or compatibility issues. Try disabling or removing any recently installed extensions to see if the issue persists. You can usually manage extensions through the browser's settings or extensions/add-ons menu.

4. Reset Browser Settings: Resetting your browser to its default settings can help eliminate any customized settings or preferences that may be causing problems. Look for the "Reset" or "Restore Defaults" option in your browser's settings.

5. Check for Malware: Perform a thorough scan of your system using reputable antivirus or antimalware software to ensure that your system is not infected by any malicious programs that could interfere with browser functionality.

6. Monitor System Resources: Use the Task Manager (press Ctrl+Shift+Esc) to monitor system resource usage while using your browsers. Check for any unusually high CPU, memory, or disk usage that could be impacting performance. If resource usage is consistently high, you may need to close unnecessary applications or consider upgrading your system's hardware if it's struggling to handle the workload.

If the issues persist after trying these steps, it may be helpful to contact HP Support for further assistance. They can provide specific troubleshooting tailored to your HP Pavilion Desktop model and help identify any potential hardware or software issues that may be contributing to the problems you're experiencing.

Regards;

David Johnson.
