The following uses the CMD (command line) menu in Admin mode --

Find Serial Number

Windows key + X + A (opens Cmd prompt as Admin)

C:\Windows\System32> Powershell

PS C:\Windows\System32> Get-WmiObject win32_bios | select Serialnumber

Type Exit to leave Powershell

or simply close the CMD menu / window
