Im having trouble with my ac200w I can’t find the app

It looks like your HP ac200w is actually an action camera, not part of the HP lineup, which is why HP doesn’t offer a printer-like Smart app for it. Instead, it uses its built-in Wi-Fi and a companion app to transfer and view videos. Here's how you can get it working:

How to Use the ac200w Camera with Its App

1. Enable Wi-Fi on the Camera

  • Power on the camera and go to the Wi-Fi mode (check the LCD display or the manual).
  • The camera should broadcast an SSID (e.g., HP_AC200W_xxx).


2. Connect Your Phone or Tablet

  • On your mobile device, go to Wi-Fi settings.
  • Select the camera’s SSID to connect to it directly.


3. Download the HP ac200w App

While HP used to have a dedicated app:

  • The app might not be available anymore in mainstream app stores.
  • If not found, use the camera’s manual method instead:


4. Manual File Access

  • Connect the camera to your phone or computer using a USB cable.
  • Or remove the microSD card and insert it into your phone or a card reader.
  • Browse the files, videos and photos directly.
