Hello,

Can anyone help us,I bought this computer for my daughter just yesterday and my daughter has a keen interest in animating (specifully on Source filmaker) however we have learnt to get the full potential of Source filmaker we need a graphics card.We have only just found this out, Is there any chance we can buy an external graphics card for this type of computer at all and without taking the computer apart. As you've worked out we are not tech minded and haven't the foggiest idea or would it be best to take the computer back and exchnage it for a computer with a separate hard drive? Any advice greatly apprecaited, Many thanks in advance

Hello
you have an all in one computer, it doesn't seem very scalable, especially for the graphics card

HP All-in-One 27-dp0031na Product Specifications

there are ways to use an external graphics card, in general to improve a laptop computer, the principle should be the same with an all in one
But you can not normally use the computer screen, so you need a second one.
The most effective, from what I had seen, a box, and we must add the graphics card, a power supply, I do not know if there are ready-made kits ..
But what is certain is that it is worth quite a bit of money to do this
It is in your best interest to return the computer, if possible
And to buy something already equipped, and sufficiently efficient
check the software requirements!

this type of device for example

it may be required to have some connectors that the computer does not have
