Hi, i wanted to play league and for vanguard you need TPM 2.0. I went into device manager selected system devices, then action. I proceeded to go into intall legacy hard and find the security devices where i installed TPM 2.0. Then i restarted and now i just have to update the driver. It is telling me that theres a chance that i could lose some or all of my data if it is not compatible so i am unsure if i should do it or not. What is weird is how i am on windows 11 with TPM 1.2 so i am asking if i do update the driver to the TPM 2.0 Driver will i lose everything or should i go ahead and proceed with it. Hi:
You don't update the TPM firmware that way.
See this link for how to update the TPM 1.2 firmware to 2.0.
If you bought the notebook second hand, someone probably used a workaround to upgrade it to W11 because none of the processors meet Microsoft's minimum processor requirements of an Intel 8th gen core or newer processor.

Hi:
I believe that the info on the website will work on W11 too.
All I know is you don't want to use the method you were asking about.
Let's put it this way...either leave it on 1 2, or run the update on W11, or reinstall W10 and run the update.
