Bookmarks are a product of your browser and not really part of "Windows" except in the sense that Windows can accomodate any backups of your bookmarks and / or may store the bookmarks on the computer.

Our community cannot help find your bookmarks - different browsers have different rules about storing, exporting, and importing this information.  In GENERAL, bookmarks are stored in either a clear text or (more likely) a database format - the file is usually stored / saved within your account on your computer.

For example (at least true for Windows 10):

Firefox bookmarks can be "exported" to a location on your computer (usually in your account or to a network drive to which you have full read/write access).  Firefox stores your bookmark database in your account Appdata\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles.

You can "export" your bookmarks in .json or .html format to anyplace in your account in which you have full read/write access.  Bookmarks > Show all Bookmarks > Import and Backup

Reference:  Bookmarks in Firefox

Chrome stores bookmarks in your account AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\UserData\Default.  Use Google search for information on how to access, edit, back up your Chrome bookmarks.

Use your favorite search engine to search for help for your browser and how it manages bookmarks.

For example, search for "Where are Chrome bookmarks stored?"
