Trying to do a full reset on my HP Zbook with Windows 11 (am locked out, need to do a full reset) and when I go to download the HP Cloud Recovery tool on another computer, it doesn't seem to work. It downloads, and I try to open "As Administrator" (like it says) but all it does after that is go BACK to the Microsoft Store and looks for updates. Try and open it just with a click and it says I need to run it as Administrator. If anyone has any ideas, I welcome them, even some CLI syntax if that's the way I need to go instead. Also, Microsoft/ HP: please fix your downloads on your recovery tools. 🙏 (thank you).

I believe you are trying to use the wrong version of the cloud recovery tool, which is meant for HP consumer class notebooks, if you are going to the Microsoft Store to download the software.
You need to use the HP cloud recovery client software which is used for business PC's.
There are multiple generations of Zbook Firefly 14's in service.
I randomly selected the cloud recovery client software for the G8, so this is what it looks like:
It under the Software - Security section of the driver page.

Here's an info link for how to use the utility: You enter the PC's serial number to use the utility on another PC.
