Can't fit USB stick in HP Pavilion

Hi all!

I recently got an HP Pavilion All-In-One 27-a200nv.

The thing is, I can't use the USB ports on the front, under the display. Most of my USB sticks just won't fit, as the space/height between the port and the display base is just too small.

The only way I can use the front USB port is if I tilt the screen back, but this is not practical at all, since I can't actually make much use of my PC when the screen is tilted back like that.

Is there any way to lift the screen higher, to provide more space for the USBs? I can't seem to find any manuals or online material to help with this.

USB ports have a duty cycle.  It's possible to damage the port.  What I have found extremely valuable and better is to adapt the port, or extend it. Look closely at this USB 3.0 adapter.  Would it plug into the bottom and extend out to you?  Yes, you will have some duty cycle on the computer USB because it will flex the port contacts.

What I use is a short extension cable.  These protect the computer USB3.0 ports.  I leave the extension plugged in, and duty cycle the female on the extension.

SIDEBAR: I have a USB port in my truck/radio. It wore-out in less than 1 yr.  Now I use the extension to protect the actual port. No more duty cycles on the truck/radio.

I understand I have the option of using a USB adapter/bridge, but I'm still wondering if there's a physical option to lift the HP screen higher. 

Is there only a way to tilt screen horizontally, or is there a way to do it vertically too?
