Hello, 

 

Today I turned on my computer (the first time today) and the HP Setup Utility was opened. I don’t know why or how but if I try to exit, I cannot. There are three options, apply defaults and exit, ignore changes and exit, and save changes and exit. Trying either of those options did not allow me to exit. What should I do? I don’t know anything about computers so I’m sorry if this is in the wrong topic and if this is actually a really simple issue.

Perform a hard reset by unplugging the power cord from the back. Then hold down the start button for 30 secs.  Reattach power cord, and turn-on the computer.
