Cannot uninstall priceline.com - when click uninstall goes to web page.

Anyway, I did a research for you and found that Priceline.com is just a shortcut which opens a website

 

In order to remove it, just :

 

0. Ensure you can see hidden files/folders/drives in Windows. Here is how >> https://www.isunshare.com/windows-10/show-hidden-files-and-folders-in-windows-10.html

 

1. Open My Computer/File explorer

2. Go to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs

3. You will be able to see all apps with their shortcuts in the Start Menu a

4. Find and delete the file Priceline.com (shortuct)

 

5. Also: Go to C:\Program files (x86)\HP\Shared

6. Manually delete WizLink and WinLocale Link

This system is feedback driven thru Solution and Kudo flags. It's the only means of knowing if you have been served. Please click Accept as Solution, if your problem is solved. To say THANK YOU, press the "thumbs up symbol" to render a KUDO. You can render both Solution and KUDO..

@ginnpr1, welcome to the forum.

 

My goto app for removing difficult apps is Revo Uninstaller (FREE edition).  I use the Advanced option because it removes all of the app from the hard drive and cleans the Registy, as well.  I have used it for years with great success.

Thansk for the reply - not sure if I want to try - as I mentioned it is listed and when click uninstall goes to web page - not sure what the program you mention actually does - priceline is not listed in the add/remove list.
