Cannot update from 21H2 to 22H2

Does anyone have an idea why I cannot update my 27-p014 W10 from 21H2 to 22H2? I get anywhere from error code 0xc1900201 to "cannot install w10 on this computer" to "cannot install w10 on flash drive".

I've run all kinds of scans and troubleshooting and found no errors anywhere in the system.

I do have an upgraded SSD drive and BIOS does have TPM 2.0.

If your HP 27-p014 fails to update from Windows 10 version 21H2 to 22H2 (error 0xc1900201 or installation issues), try these steps:

Free Up Space: Ensure enough space on your primary drive. Use Disk Cleanup to remove unnecessary files.

Update Drivers: Check Device Manager and update all drivers.

Repair System Files: Run these commands in Command Prompt (Admin):

sfc /scannow DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Update BIOS & Settings: Make sure the BIOS is up to date, TPM 2.0 is enabled, and Secure Boot is on.

Disconnect External Devices: Remove all USB drives before updating.

Reset Windows Update:

• Stop Windows Update and BITS services.
• Delete the contents of C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download.
• Restart the services.

Use Installation Media: If the update still fails, use the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool for a manual upgrade.

Check Logs: Review Event Viewer → Windows Logs → System for update errors.

By following these steps, you should be able to identify and resolve the issues preventing your system from updating to Windows 10 version 22H2.

Thanks for the rundown on trying the update, it still doesn't go thru and comes up with error code 0xc1900201 and cannot install W10 on usb drive? Everything usb is unplugged from computer...does the main SSD drive have something to do with this?
