Solved!

Change Fn/Action key usage

HP Recommended
HP Pavilion AiO 24-xa1007na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

New to this desktop product HP Pavilion AiO 24-xa1007na.

I would like to change the working of the Fn key so that I do not have to press it to use the F1/ F2, etc keys (but would press it to use the Action Keys). I have looked in the system BIOS but there does not seem to be an option.

Does anyone know i this is possible, and how......

Thanks for your help.

@Drek1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to change the behavior of the function keys.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

The keyboard you have purchased is a multimedia keyboard and there is no option to change the function keys behavior and it is by design.

I hope that answers your question and you have a great day!
