Product: Compaq CQ-1 2025 All in one Desktop
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I did research HOW To do this

Advice do not use the same w10.

 

Original OS

Windows7 home

Upgraded to W10.

Decided to wipe hard drive,

do clean of windows 10 install SSD 500gb

old hard drive, new ssd hard drive

cannot get past the where it

says

install drivers

(it means it can not install os

unless the Hard drive has C Drive.

This part of Windows OS

seems to have been left out of W. OS.

Tried both hard drives.

W7 or W10

will not install

each hard drive

works with lininux os

do not understand the solution.

TU anyway

 

Finally dawned on me:

have to have a bootable dvd/cd like with

oem software.

for a clean install.
