Envy All-in-one

My HP Envy All in 1 will not install any updates from HP.  It cancels the installation.  Help?  I don't know what's wrong.  It will install updates from Microsoft.

Those are two different kinds of updates that are totally unrelated.

The Windows updates come from MS and are done using Windows Update.

The HP updates are done using HP Support Assistant.

So, are you being provided a list of updates and when you select then, what is then being shown on the screen?

The updates are being sent from HP and are for drivers, one is a critical update. When I check the boxes to select the downloads,  it immediately starts to download,  but then a box pops up that says cancelled.

That's not good news -- and unfortunately, since that is handled entirely by HP's Support Assistant, when that does not work, all you can do is try the solutions in this thread:  https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03601631
