Connect 22TB SATA internal Hard Drive to HP Omen 40L desktop using a Sabrent docking station.  I have trien several other brands.  The work with 18 TB hard drives but not new 22TB Western Digital drives.  I tried two drives and several different brands of USB docking nstations.   22 TB SATA drives connected via docking stations do not show in Disk Management.  I have spoken with suupport from Sabrent, Western Digital, and HP.  It seems to be a compatiblity issue.  I have received no assurances that should I buy a newer HP Omen, that the same issue would not be present.  It has been reported that another popular does not have the ssame issue,  I have tried all of the USB ports.  SS5 and SS10 USB ports type C and type A on back and in front.

You probably have a "shucked" drive.  I bought one myself and had to return it as I could not bypass the pin 3 sleep function.

Removing the internal drive from an external enclosure is called shucking. Some external drives use pin 3 to enable sleep features when in external enclosure. That pin must not be connected electrically when the drive is used internally.
Read about the problem here.

2 - Needs to be initialized

Possible the drive just needs to be initialized
This is how it is done in windows 10 or 11

Let me know what you find out.

Thank you for your response.  Anything helps!  The 22TB drives were new and not shucked.  I don't think that is the problem I am having.  I am leaning towards a defect in HP firmware causing an incompatibility with these large size hard drives.  The two internal 20TB drives and a 2TB SSD work well.   I am still hoping that someone has a large drive externally connected via a Sabrent model EC-HD2B.
