Hi.
I have one problem. When i play some games for example gta 5 etc. The cpu goes to max 80% and is blocking the gpu to use more of its capabilities (60-70% max). Is there some settings that i could change to get at least 90, 95% so the gpu could at leas be at 80-90%.
If you didnt understood what i have just written then here is the simple version: One app can only use max 80% of the cpu.

Thank you for replying,
As long as you don't have this PC: Click here,
It doesn't matter which model name you have as it wouldn't have the configuration as good as a gaming desktop PC.
I recommend you use this desktop for low-resolution games instead of high-performance gaming.

Thank you for posting on HP Forums,
Riddle_Decipher is at your service.
As I Understand you want to increase the application usage to above 80%,
No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:
Did you know that the CPU usage is system managed and changing it isn't an option? as HP doesn't recommend tweaking default performance!
That said, though your PCs product specifications are quite impressive, this PC isn't built for gaming as the new Omen X desktops are!
I recommend decreasing the visual appearance of windows and the game to have better performance in case you have low FPS issues.
Here's how you do it:
Go to Start Menu > click on Settings.
Type performance > choose to Adjust the appearance and performance of Windows.
In the new window, go to the Visual Effects and select Adjust for best performance.
click Apply and ok...this should do the trick.
