Hello, I am trying to get the HP photo frame app so I can fully utilize my DF1050TW photo frame. I’d love to edit pics and save the edited pic for my photo show. I cannot find the app on hp website, thanks

Hi @Mark11261,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand you’re looking for the HP Photo Frame app for the DF1050TW so you can edit and manage photos, but you can’t find it on the HP website. Let’s go through a few steps to clarify what’s happening and what options you have.

The HP Photo Frame app that supported the DF1050TW has been discontinued.
It has been removed from both the Apple App Store and Google Play and is no longer hosted by HP.

The app relied on older mobile frameworks that are no longer supported.
Because of this, HP retired the app and does not provide a replacement version.

Avoid third-party download sites
Any website claiming to offer the HP Photo Frame app is not an official source.
Installing such apps can pose security and privacy risks.

Use supported methods to add photos
The DF1050TW fully supports photos via USB flash drive.
Copy edited photos from your computer to a USB drive and plug it into the frame.

Use an SD card as an alternative
You can also load photos using an SD memory card.
This works the same way as USB and supports slideshows reliably.

Edit photos before transferring
Use photo editing software on your computer or phone first.
Save the final edited images, then transfer them to the USB or SD card.

Check supported file formats and resolution
Ensure photos are saved in JPEG format and within supported resolution limits.
Unsupported formats may not display correctly on the frame.

Manage slideshows directly on the frame
Use the frame’s built-in menu to select photos and configure slideshow settings.
This does not require the mobile app.

I hope this helps.
