HP 14-dq0000 Laptop PC (56Z60AV)

My date and time are not synching.  I have to reset it manually every day.  I checked settings and even ran the HP BIOS battery diagnostic which was okay.  What is wrong here?  Thanks.

The battery diagnostics have nothing to do with the CMOS battery, which is used to retain UEFI settings when the computer is powered off.

You said this has a battery, but you posted this in the Desktops section.  So, is this actually a laptop?

Which version of Windows are you running -- Windows 10 or Windows 11?

Synchronize your computer clock with an internet time server

  • Connect your computer to a network with an active internet connection
  • In Windows, search for and open Change the date and time
  • On the Time & Language window, click Sync now under Synchronize your clock
