Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I recently upgraded my PC to Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. I am having difficulty finding drivers for two "Other devices" in the Device Manager. Those devices are the following: "PCI Serial Port" and "Other PCI Bridge Device".

For "Other PCI Bridge Device", I have the following Hardware IDs:

PCI\VEN_1415&DEV_9511&SUBSYS_00001415&REV_00
PCI\VEN_1415&DEV_9511&SUBSYS_00001415
PCI\VEN_1415&DEV_9511&CC_068000
PCI\VEN_1415&DEV_9511&CC_0680

For "PCI Serial Port", I have the following Hardware IDs:

PCI\VEN_1415&DEV_9501&SUBSYS_00001415&REV_00
PCI\VEN_1415&DEV_9501&SUBSYS_00001415
PCI\VEN_1415&DEV_9501&CC_070006
PCI\VEN_1415&DEV_9501&CC_0700

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi:

That is an old  Oxford Serial/Parallel PCI Card that only has driver support up to Windows 7.

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp45001-45500/sp45463.html

Try manually installing the W7 x64 drivers that I zipped up and attached below.  Hopefully they will work on W10.

The driver I attached has support for the hardware ID's you posted...

; For WinXP and later
[Oxsemi.ntAMD64]
;#OxData#%MfDesc% = MfInstSect,PCI\VEN_[[MfVendorId]]&DEV_[[MfDeviceId]]
%MfDesc% = MfInstSect,PCI\VEN_1415&DEV_9504
%MfDesc% = MfInstSect,PCI\VEN_1415&DEV_9505
%MfDesc% = MfInstSect,PCI\VEN_1415&DEV_9501
%MfDesc% = MfInstSect,PCI\VEN_1415&DEV_9511
%MfDesc% = MfInstSect,PCI\VEN_1415&DEV_950b
%MfDesc% = MfInstSect,PCI\VEN_1415&DEV_9521
%MfDesc% = MfInstSect,PCI\VEN_1415&DEV_9538

To manually install the driver...

Download and unzip the file I attached to its folder.  Do not do anything with the files in the folder.

Go to the device manager, click on the "Other PCI Bridge Device."

Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update driver.

Select the Browse my computer for drivers option and browse to the driver folder you unzipped.

Make sure the Include subfolders box is checked and the driver should install.

Then do the same thing for the "PCI Serial Port."
