I entered a disk and I think I may have put it in improperly.  When I tried to eject it, it wouldn't come out.  When I finally got disk drive open there was no disk in it.  How do I get my disk from computer?

@taps717,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

If the CD is not in the drive, then the CD might have broken inside the DVD drive. I recommend you open the DVD drive and check once.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

Thanks for your reply.  I'm not sure I understand about the "cd drive".   Do you mean the tray that pops out where you insert the cd?  Or do you mean opening up he computer itself and looking for the cd?  If so, is there a chance of my damaging the computer if I try opening it up to find cd?  The cd is not in the pop out tray.

@taps717,

Yes, you need to open the tower and check if the CD is not in the DVD tray.
