Hello, Silver Surfer here. I have a problem and hope you can help.

The HP Support Assistant keeps recommending that I install an update for the Bios family 8431 version F.41, but when I try to 

install the download, I get the following message.

"The Bios you are installing is older than the current version in the system and cannot be executed"

I cancel the installation, but the Support Assistant keeps telling me to install the update. How do I stop the Support Assistant from insisting that I install the update. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Hello
if the version is not the right one, disable automatic updates
The version is still available, do not insist
Try in case to uninstall then reinstall hp support assistant
also use the lower left comments option, to report the problem
