i bought my father a HP Paviliion 17-ar050wm. He forgot his admin password. i reset the device, and since it met all qualifications for windows 11 I decided to upgrade it for him. the os ran fine for the first couple of runs, then it wouldn't finish booting the system. that led o uninstalling windows 11 and trying to reinstall windows 10. I downloaded the media creation tool for the iso but it wouldn't finish booting into the system. after the restart it goes through the basic initial install and no further. I've narrowed it down to a driver issue but the download is on my Lenovo laptop and I have no clue what or how to transfer the file and install it on my HP laptop. Any brain storming, thoughts, and/or fixes are welcome.

Hi:
The PC is supported by the HP Cloud Recovery tool which you can use on another PC running W7 64 bit or newer and a 32 GB USB flash drive to create a bootable recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with the notebook.
Here is an info link for how to use the utility.
HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool in Windows 11 and 10 | HP® Customer Support
Since you have to use the tool on another PC, you will have to enter your PC's product number in the tool's search window to proceed to make the recovery media.
Your notebook's product number is: 1KU52UA#ABA
