Hello everyone
I recently reinstalled windows 10 on a Z420 Workstation and have two driver issues. The SCSI-Controller and the Serial PCI-Connection gives an error.
This is the info for the SCSI Controller: PCI\VEN_1000&DEV_0030&SUBSYS_322A103C&REV_C1
And this for the PCI: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1D3D&SUBSYS_1589103C&REV_05
How do i fix this?

Try the file I zipped up and attached below.
It's different and may work.
Still for Windows Server 2003 x 64 but it has a different named setup information file.

Hi:
You need this driver for the SCSI-Controller that I have zipped up and attached below.
HP Ultra320 SCSI Controller Driver
You will also have to manually install the driver as follows:
Go to the device manager.
Click on the SCSI-Controller needing the driver.
Click on the driver tab.
Click on Update driver.
Select the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option and browse to the driver folder you unzipped.
Make sure that the Include subfolders box is checked, and the driver should install.
You need this driver for the PCI serial port:
Intel Management Engine Software

You're very welcome.
That might be due to the fact that the only driver I could find for the device was for Windows Server 2003.
The driver has support for the hardware ID you posted as indicated by this partial copy and paste of the driver setup information file.

%DevDesc6% = SYMMPI_Inst, PCI\VEN_1000&DEV_0030
%DevDesc7% = SYMMPI_Inst, PCI\VEN_1000&DEV_0032
See if forcing the install works:
Go to the device manager.
Click on the SCSI controller needing the driver.
Click on the driver tab.
Click on Update driver.
Select the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option, and then at the bottom of that window, select the 'Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer.'
Click on Have Disk and browse to the driver folder>smmpi setup information file, select the Ultra 320 from the list and see if the driver will install that way.

I think it worked now. But it still shows it under other devices.
I have a tape drive HP StorageWorks Ultrium 448 connected with a internal scsi cable to the scsi controller. should this work now? Or do I have to install anything for the tape drive?

Yes, the SCSI driver appears to have worked but perhaps the attached Ultrium-2 device needs a driver now.
However, I could not find any drivers for that device.
HP has no drivers for it.

I answered this question a couple of years ago, and suggest that you do the same thing I suggested to the other person.
