How come I no longer get any driver updates for my desktop PC? Aren't the latest drivers supposed to provide better stability and security? There are newer drivers available, I managed to find one for my PCI Adapter.
Thank you.

Yes, true that it does not prevent the computer from working, just like you can use all Microsoft drivers for your hardware, and your computer still works, but original drivers provide the optimal use for your hardware.
I am just asking if they do exist, why not make them available? And in many cases, they do exist, but is only available upon request.

Hello
this should be requested directly from hp ..
For some models, after a while there are few or no updates.
This does not prevent the computer from working most of the time.
Except in the event of a serious security problem, found, encountered, it is possible that we do not see the usefulness of developing new ones.
All of this at a cost, maybe one of the reasons.
We can notice in some cases, that the pilots of a Serial page, will be more recent, it is quite rare, and it is necessary to search everywhere

With a big stroke of luck, by looking a little, we can manage to use a pilot of another, more recent model.
But sometimes it is better to avoid tempting the devil!
The main driver, which can bring some improvements is especially that of the graphics card, although it is recommended to use those from HP, if no compatibility problem, we can use the nvidia or amd drivers directly.

Which pilots are you talking about?
the HP drivers, are available or not ...
For some it is only by windows update, I don't know why, but these are specific updates ..
ever heard of on-demand pilot?
After that, do not confuse the hp drivers, and the other drivers (intel amd nvidia realtek etc)
Having said that, I cannot answer instead HP on the why and how.

Unfortunately, you have no more information about HP's plans for driver updates than we do -- which is essentially nothing.
My GUESS, now that Windows 11 is out, is that HP is going to focus entirely on supporting that and the PCs that come preloaded with it -- and Windows 10 driver updates from HP are not gong to be seen anymore.
Which might be a good thing -- because HP was putting out Win10 driver updates that were Windows 10 version-specific (i.e., version 1909, 2004, 21H2) and that was causing confusion when folks upgraded their PC through Windows Update and they no longer had working HP drivers.
I am a volunteer and I do not work for, nor represent, HP
