Hi

I'am having problems with my HP R70 system firmware in device manager. I thought I fixed it a few months ago by updating my bios but it cam back after an update. I am wondering if there is anyway to fix it since it's kinda bugging me. Originally it said "windows update installing" when booting up, then going back to the start up screen then the lock screen. I disabled it in device manager so it doesn't say that anymore but it still bugs me.

Any help is appreciated!

I use windows 10  2h22 but this actually might help you too. With the help of someone from reddit I found that if you go to device manager→Firmware→R70 system firmware→Roll back driver. It can go back to 1.25.0 and it will be fixed. I don't know if this will help you but here you go!

Thanks great thanks,

I'm Using w11 at 23h2 This is going to to annoy, I have 2 identical 850g6 laptops (Wife and Daughter ) in my attempts to fix that aggravating r70 software restart msg I discovered that it requires a BIOS update to 1.26, current 1.25. 1.26 is not on HP web site but during my searches I must of clicked on a link that contained that bios update so now I have 1 laptop at 1.26 (no restart msg) and one at 1.25, for the life of me I can't find where I got it from, angry or what,

conclusion HP have released a 1.26 BIOS update, so its out there some where
