@Tev-M, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Keyboard Not Recognized by HP Support!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If you are experiencing issues with HP Support not recognizing your keyboard’s serial number (SN), you can follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Check Serial Number Accuracy:

  • Double-check the serial number on your keyboard to ensure you have entered it correctly. Serial numbers are usually located on a label at the bottom of the keyboard.

Verify Correct Product:

  • Ensure that the keyboard is an HP product and not from another manufacturer. HP Support systems recognize serial numbers for HP devices only.

Update Browser and Clear Cache:

  • Make sure your web browser is up to date.
  • Clear your browser’s cache and cookies to ensure that old data is not causing display issues.

Use a Different Browser or Device:

  • Try accessing the HP support website using a different web browser or a different device to rule out local issues.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
