The above shows as Malware using Fortech.  No other Products I have been reviewing show this McAfee App as an issue.

I was just going to ignore but thought I would ask first.

Welcome to the HP Community --

 

Whether McAfee Security is malware is in the eye of the beholder.

I don't think McAfee is necessarily evil; I do uninstall it first thing on every new system.

 

Unless you are using McAfee and are a fan of the software, I recommend uninstalling McAfee.

The McAfee website provides how to strip the software from your system, else search the 'net.

OR

Sure - ignore, mark as benign...

 

If "mcafee techmate"is something other than McAfee, that is, you have already removed (uninstalled) McAfee, then it might be worth a bit of effort to dig the "techmate" bits out of your system.
