Hello, my HP steam computer I recently bought from someone is unable to be logged into. Ive tried to use the F11 method and others but when I push reset it says things about freeing storage and using a USB which I dont have. I need to know how to erase everything on the computer to a complete factory reset.

You'll need to clean install Windows 10/W11 by making bootable USB installation media from the applicable links below:

 

You will need to use another Windows PC to create the recovery media.

 

Download Windows 10

 

Download Windows 11

 

When you get to the part of the installation that asks, 'Where do you want to install Windows,' delete every partition on the drive, leaving just one partition of unallocated space.

 

Click Next and Windows will install.

 

That is your only option.
