I am trying to play fallout 4 on my HP 270-p043w and the game is lagging like crazy I am just starting gaming on pc and am wondering if I just have the settings wrong or what

Here are the Fallout 4 System Requirements (Minimum)

  • CPU: Intel Core i5-2300 2.8 GHz/AMD Phenom II X4 945 3.0 GHz or equivalent
  • CPU SPEED: Info

RAM: 8 GB

  • OS: Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required)
  • VIDEO CARD: NVIDIA GTX 550 Ti 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or equivalent
  • PIXEL SHADER: 5.0
  • VERTEX SHADER: 5.0
  • FREE DISK SPACE: 30 GB
  • DEDICATED VIDEO RAM: 2048 MB

HP Slimline 270-p043w Desktop PC Product Specifications

your processor is maybe just so I put it in blue
but the graphics card is nonexistent, in red!
this computer does not have the minimum configuration required, therefore, it does not have at all the acceptable configuration for this type of game!
as the power supply is certainly special and difficult to replace, you will have difficulty installing a suitable graphics card!
You can try in case a poorly performing model but nothing says that it will be enough!

your motherboard is a LUbin, 180w power supply
here you can find some examples of graphics card, installed on computers with the same 180 w motherboard
